About Social Storm
Social Storm is a Chicago-based media and education company dedicated to teaching teens and young adults financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and modern economic skills.
Our mission is to empower the next generation to build strong foundations for financial independence while actively working to decrease the wealth gap and expand access to opportunity. We believe financial education should not be exclusive — it should be practical, culturally relevant, and accessible to people from all backgrounds.
Since our founding, Social Storm has educated over 3,000 youth and adults nationwide through workshops, events, media, and community-driven programming designed to translate complex financial systems into real-world action.
Through multiple platforms and initiatives, we educate, motivate, and equip young people with tools they can apply immediately:
Financial Literacy Workshops
We host and collaborate on interactive workshops covering budgeting, saving, investing, credit, entrepreneurship, and long-term wealth-building strategies. These programs focus on practical execution — not just theory — helping participants develop real financial confidence.
Podcast & Media Education
Our podcast and digital media platforms feature conversations with entrepreneurs, financial experts, and community leaders. Each episode provides actionable insight on business growth, money management, and navigating today’s economy.
News, Events & Community Programming
We organize panels, conferences, and youth-centered events that connect education with real-world exposure. By keeping our audience informed about economic trends and opportunities, we help individuals make smarter decisions and expand their networks.
At Social Storm, we don’t just teach money — we teach how the modern economy works and how young people can build power inside it.
We believe financial education is a form of empowerment. By equipping individuals with knowledge, discipline, and opportunity, we are helping create a more inclusive and prosperous future — one leader at a time.
